Britain iS: The Guardian and iStockphoto Photography Competition

One of these days iStockphoto will be turning 10. To celebrate they've teamed up with the Guardian and launched a nationwide photography competition, Britain iS. There are four entry categories: urban, landscape, culture and stock. A total of £2000 is up for grabs. Enter only one image into each category and the closing date for entries is on Thursday the 25th of February 2010.

I love the strong shadows in winter time, the crisp light and the many photo opportunities it brings. Perfect time of year to be out and about with my holga!

Gig photos: Prints for sale

I've had a few requests to make my gig photos available as prints. As from today you can purchase prints and other photo products from my pro gallery on photobox.co.uk. I've uploaded photos of two gigs for now, but will continue to backfill the rest. Watch this spaces for further announcements.

Stanislav Shikongo

This photo is from a series of portraits taken during a 4 week visit to Namibia. Shikongo was really comfortable in front of the lens and it was great fun taking his portrait.
